The REBECASeaweed project is 100% funded in the first call for projects of the Safe Seaweed Coalition Alliance, International partnership created to support the safety and sustainability of the seaweed industry and to unite a fragmented market through a unified vision and objectives. The REBECA-CCT project (MAC2/1.1b/269) is co-financed 85% with FEDER funds from the INTERREG V A Spain-Portugal territorial cooperation programme MAC 2014-2020, in its second call for projects. The REBECA Network has been created as a collaboration platform between different regions of Macaronesia and NE of Africa, for the consolidation of a network of excellence in biotechnology based on the blue economy, in particular on microalgae biodiversity.
